APHIS Launches Dashboard for U.S. Data on Wood Packaging Material and Holds Instructional Webinar

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 24, 2025—The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) recently launched a new dashboard that provides comprehensive data on wood packaging material. This innovative tool enhances transparency, improves decision making, and supports compliance with international phytosanitary standards.

The wood packaging material dashboard aggregates and displays data from multiple sources, offering users a dynamic view of import trends, compliance rates, inspection results, and treatment facility certifications.

This new tool allows users to make more informed decisions about where they source wood packaging material. It’s a significant step forward in monitoring and managing wood packaging material to prevent the introduction and spread of harmful pests.
